Lola Grace graced us with her presence last week.
It was awesome to be with her mom during labor, to rub her back and reassure her everything would be all right. The emotions of a new child are awe-inspiring.
It does not get any better! Everyone experienced a plethora of feelings from elation, fear, pain, anxiousness, tears, thanksgiving, and total joy. My daugher was a total trooper during the birth and I am so proud of her. Lola's dad is pretty special too, he is a natural at being a dad! It warms my heart to see my daughter be a mom and take care of her little child.

It is the same with us. When we are born into the family of God, there are the same range of emotions. How we all need a mother and father to take us by the hand and lead us spiritually. Lord send the person(s) you want me to mother and sanctify into your kingdom. Make it known to me and lead me with your mighty hand.

Lola Grace, may the grace of God shine on you today and every day of your life. You are precious!
